CANOE – Richard D. “Dick” Booth, 47, of Canoe died Friday, Feb. 11, 2011 at his residence.
He was owner of Richards Trucking Company, born in Atmore on Feb. 4, 1964 to Willie and Peggy Jo Buck Booth.
His mother, Peggy Jo Buck Booth, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Marie Booth; one son, Kenneth S. Morrow and one daughter, Sandy Marie Booth, all of Canoe; his father, Willie Booth of Jackson; one sister, Angela Meitzler of Canoe and one granddaughter, Serenity Tru Conway Booth.
Services were held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 13, 2011 from Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Earl Green officiating. Interment followed in McCullough Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Dudley Wilson, Dudley Flowers, Todd Vickery, William E. Frazier, William Lee Rigby III, Matt Shaver and Ben Weaver.
Family received friends from 1 p.m. until service time on Sunday, Feb.13, 2011 at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.
Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of all arrangements.
