ATMORE – Margie Irene Long, 61, of Atmore died Saturday, April 9, 2011 in Atmore.

She was a math teacher with Escambia County High School, born in Bay Minette on March 6, 1950 to the late Thomas A. and Dorothy A. Dayton Long. She also taught math at Faulkner Community College and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Atmore.

Survivors include a brother, James Long, and wife, Pat, of Mobile; two nephews,

Kelly Long of Mobile and Jeffrey Long of Brooklyn, N.Y.; a great nephew, Mark

Long, several cousins and many friends.

Memorial Services will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 16, 2011 from the First Baptist Church of Atmore with the Rev. Arnold Hendrix officiating.

Family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until service time on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at the church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Atmore.
