Ervin Junior Hall, 86, of Atmore died Monday, April 25, 2011 in Atmore.
He was a retired farmer, born in Atmore on June 12, 1924 to the late Ezra M. and Lona Mae Isler Hall. He was a deacon at Judson Baptist Church, was a Mason, loved carpentry and was active in ALFA Association, as well as the Cattlemen’s Association, both county and state.
His wife, Loretha J. Hall, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his children, James E. Hall and wife, Kathleen, and Hilbert E. Hall and wife, Annette, all of Atmore, Margaret Higdon and husband, Dennis, of Columbus, Ga., Diane Snider and husband, Kenneth, of Fulton, Miss. and Myron W. Hall of Atmore; grandchildren, Jonathan, Monica, Jake, Jeremy Hall, Eric and Susan Hall, Ericka and Jeni, Scotty, Kristen, Trey, Luke, Logan, Mark and Magan Hall, Alisha and Lee Zenor, Adelynn Newton, Aniston Zenor, Troy and Tricia Higdon, Jenna Johnson, Abby Grace Higdon, Noah Seth Higdon, Keith and Ashley Snider, McKenna Torunn, April and Andy Moore, Gretchen and Nick Roper, Drew Ty Ajalin, Brianne and Josh Threeton, Barrett and James Christopher Hall and one brother, Gene Hall, of Atmore.
Services were held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 28, 2011 from the Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jimmy Dukes officiating. Interment followed in Serenity Gardens.
Active pallbearers were grandsons.
Family received friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday evening, April 27, 2011 at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Judson Baptist Church building fund.
