TALLAHASEE, Fla. – Maxine Elizabeth Nall, 86, a native of Alabama, went to be with the Lord Jesus, May 28, 2011, while residing at HarborChase in Tallahassee, Fla.

She was born Nov. 17, 1924 in Uriah, the only daughter of Devon Jake Sims and Annie Dora Sims. She married her school sweetheart, Horace Thomas Nall, on Sept. 14, 1941.  To help the war effort in World War II, she worked in a Mobile shipyard.

She was a devoted wife and mother involved in the PTA and local church activities.    She was baptized into the Primitive Baptist faith in 1963 and served the Lord for more than 40 years. Maxine lived simple, laughed often, loving and being loved deeply by her family and friends, and rejoicing in her artistic and gardening talents.
