McDavid, Fla. – Mrs. Nina Gail Thrower, 68, passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2011 in McDavid, Fla.

She was a native of Atmore, and a lifelong resident of McDavid, Fla. and she attended the Walnut Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Robert G. Thrower Sr. of McDavid, Fla.; her son, the Rev. Robert G. Thrower Jr. of Atmore; her daughter, Lori Ann Sawyer of Walnut Hill, Fla. and six grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, June 6, 2011 at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Thrower Jr. officiating. Burial followed at Walnut Hill Cemetery. Visitation was held from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Billy Rex Gibson, Arthur Louis Thrower, Pat Wilson, Jon Wilson, Greg Wilson and Arver Moorer. Honorary pallbearers were David Glass and Roy Foster.
