For the 32nd year the Atmore Rotary Club will present the South Alabama Annual Old Time Fiddler’s Convention — and 2011’s event promises to carry on the tradition in style.

Fiddler’s, as well as other musicians, will take to the state at ECHS auditorium Saturday beginning at 2 p.m. for the annual fundraising event that offers plenty of prize opportunities for competitors.

Registration will be from 10 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. with as nearly $2,000 in cash prizes to be awarded. The fiddler will receive a $1,000 prize. Other musicians will compete for more than $200 in prizes with bands having a chance at more than $300 in prizes.
