ATMORE — James Byron Lake, 67, of Atmore died Thursday July 21, 2011, at his residence.

Mr. Lake was born on Jan. 7, 1944, to Mallom Walker and Mary Catherine Barnes Lake in Owensboro, Ky.

His father, Mallom Walker Lake, preceded him in death.

Survivors are his wife, Polly Ann Mitchell Lake of Atmore; his mother, Mary Catherine Lake of Lawrenceburg, Ky.; three daughters, Carla Lake Walden and husband, Scott of Atmore and Gina Brackett and husband, Mark and Lisa Fonseca Parker and husband Gary all of Harrodsburg, Ky.; three brothers, Butch Lake of Dallas,Texas ,Ted Lake of Atmore and  Glenn Lake of Lawrenceburg, Ky.; two sisters, Linda Morse of Frankfort, Ky., and Marlyn McElwain of Indianapolis, Ind.; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
