Lady Chiefs fall to Baldwin County

Northview’s three game winning streak ended Thursday night with a loss to the Baldwin County Lady Tigers at Northview High School in Bratt, Fla.

The Lady Chiefs (3-10, 3-3) lost their match 3-0 to the Lady Tigers. The Lady Tigers won all three games by decisive margins winning the first game 11-25, the second game 15-25 and the final game 16-25.

Northview was led by sophomore Paeton Hadley who recorded two kills once ace, one assist, one dig and one block in the loss.

Lady Chiefs junior Misty Doran posted five digs, three kills and one block, while jnior Morgan Payne recorded three kills and one dig.

Sophomore Lily Townson recorded four assists.

Lady Chiefs win doubleheader

The Northview Lady Chiefs extended their winning streak to three games on Tuesday night after beating the Laurel Hill Hoboes in a doubleheader.

The Lady Chiefs (3-9, 3-3) won both matches 3-0. In the first match, the Lady Chiefs won the first game 25-13, the second game 25-22 and the third game 25-16.

Northview went on to win the second match winning game one 25-9, game two 25-14 and game three 25-14.

Leading the Lady Chiefs was Misty Doran with six kills, four aces and one dig in the two matches. Morgan Payne recorded nine kills, six aces and four assists in the wins.

Shelly Mothershed post nine aces, seven assists and four kills, while Josie Doucette posted two aces, two kills and one dig.

Lady Tigers JV 2, Lady Chiefs JV 0

The Northview Lady Chiefs junior varsity volleyball team fell to the Baldwin County Lady Tigers in a two-game match on Thursday.

The Lady Chiefs (7-6, 3-1) fell 18-25 and 14-25 in the match.

Lady Chiefs sophomore Rebecca Grim led the team with three kills and two aces, while junior Hannah Fiellin posted two aces and one assist.

Northview sophomore Danielle Steadham finished with four kills, three blocks and one dig.
