Escambia Academy 2010 Homecoming Queen Kristen Matthews, left, crowned senior Mary Maud Meacham EA’s 2011 queen Friday night in Canoe.

It was a big night for Escambia Academy students Friday in Canoe as the Cougars prepared for their 2011 homecoming game against the Southern Academy Cougars.

Between two halves of incredible football from EA players, fans were treated to one of the night’s biggest attractions – the crowing of EA’s 2011 homecoming queen, and this year’s court was full of worthy candidates.

The 2011 homecoming court included: sixth grade maid Victoria Sawyer; seventh grade maid Abby Smith; eighth grade maid Mikayla Spruill; ninth grade maid Reagan Bell; tenth grade maid Grayson Emmons; eleventh grade maid Caitlyn Bruley; twelfth grade maids Jenna Brown, Niki Bryan and Mary Maud Meacham.
