PERDIDO – Barbara Ann Boatwright Long, 61, born in Brewton and a resident of Perdido died Monday, Oct. 10, 2011 at her residence.

She was a customer service representative at United Bank.

Her father, Thomas Benjamin Boatwright Sr. preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Douglas B. Long of Perdido; her children, Angela (Terry) Hadley of Perdido and Beth (Ryne) Hicks of Rabun; step daughter, Elizabeth Ashley Long (Ben) Cross of Gallatin, Tenn.; her mother, Mattie Mae Boatwright of Perdido; three brothers, Thomas (Shannon) Boatwright Jr. of Gulf Shores, Billy (Rita) Boatwright of Clanton and Frank (Deloris) Boatwright Sr. of Perdido; seven grandchildren, Kristin (Brad) Hicks, Katie Johns, Kasey Johns, Caleb Hicks, Bryant Hicks, Blake Hicks and Justin Hicks and three great grandchildren, Laine Hicks, Ben Hadley and Cade Henderson.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today, Oct. 12, 2011 at Perdido Church of god with the Rev. Billy Boatwright, Scott Brooks and Wendell Hadley officiating. Burial will follow at Lottie New Home Cemetery Family received friends from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2011 at Perdido Church of God.

Pallbearers will be Jamie Boatwright, Joey Boatwright, Trent =Stewart, Cole Boatwright, Korey Biggs and Frank Boatwright Jr.

Although the family will accept flowers they suggest memorial contributions be made to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation, Attn: Donor Services, P.O. Box 650309, Dallas, Texas 75265-0309.
