BAY MINETTE – Cathy Louise Seales Lang was born July 29, 1951 in Bay Minette to the late Mr. and Mrs. John (Annie) Seales. She was one of 12 children.
On Monday, Oct. 24, 2011 she departed this life at 2:20 p.m. at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.

She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, of 37 years, Ed, her dear sons, Ed II (Tarnish) of Pearland, Texas and Jon Howard (Kai) of Pearland, Texas; one stepson, Cortez Wiley of Huntsville; six grandchildren, Kelian Lang, Kaina Lang, Kaci Lang, Jon Howard II Lang, all of Pearland, Texas and Evan and Erika Wiley of Huntsville; seven sisters, Shirley Bussey of Carson, Calif., Helen Henry of Newark, Del., Virginia Barnes of Carson, Calif., Brenda Smith, Kimberly Seales, Karen Seales, all of Cordova, Tenn. and Yvonne Seales of Latham; four brothers, John Seales Jr. of Bay Minette, Samuel Seales of Junction City, Kan., Charles Seales of Los Angeles, Calif. and Christopher Seales of Latham.Visitation with the family will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4, 2011 from the Chapel of Mayberry Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. from the Zion Fountain AME Zion Church in Stockton with interment in the Seales Family Cemetery in Latham.
