Traffic backed up on Main Street

An accident between a Chevrolet Lumina and an 18-wheeler has backed up traffic on Main Street.
Traffic is currently backed up on Main Street after an automobile and 18-wheeler collided at the intersection of South Main Street and Owens Street.
The accident, which occurred at approximately 11:40 a.m., involved a Chevrolet Lumina and an 18-Wheeler owned by Emerald Coast Finest Produce.
It is unknown how the accident occurred.
Personnel with the Atmore Police Department and Atmore Ambulance are on the scene working the accident.
