Lena Pryor Folmar, 92 lifelong resident of Huxford, Alabama, died Tuesday Dec. 20, 2011, in Enterprose, Alabama.  She was retired as Owner/Operator of Folmar’s Grocery, born in Atmore, Alabama on April 5, 1919, to the late Robert Olen and Lillie Isler Pryor.

She was preeceded in death in 1969 by her husband, Melvin Folmar; a brother, R.L.Pryor; and a sister, Estelle Parmer Reynolds.
Survivors are:  two daughters, Kathy F. McKinley and husband, Danny, of Huxford, Alabama and Laura F. Peacock and husband, Don, of Enterprise, Alabama. Four Grandchildren:  Cynthia Curenton and husband, Tim; Bryan Peacock and wife, Kristina;  Stacey Poarch and husband, Tim, all of Enterprise, Alabama;  Jessie McKinley Stephens and husband, Bradley, of Andalusia, Alabama. Eight great-grandchildren:  Aaron Curenton, Ashley Curenton, Adam Curenton, Hunter Peacock, Dawson Peacock, David Peacock, Caleb Poarch and Connor Poarch.

Services were held Thursday, Dec. 22, 2011, at 2 p.m. at Huxford Baptist Church with Reverand Jesse Wood officiating.  Interment followed in Huxford Baptist Church Cemetery.

Active Pallbearers were Gerald Parmer, Olen Parmer, Brannon Parmer, Bryan Peacock, Aaron Curenton and Kevin Vickery.

Family received friends, Thursday, Dec. 22, 2011, at Huxford Baptist Church one hour prior to service time.
