Alabama Power presents a check to the Atmore Kappa League in the amount of $250 to further their youth mentoring program.

Currently, Atmore Kappa League works to provide mentoring activities to area students. They have a membership of 174 students in grades fourth-12th. Demarcus Clark stated that he is thankful to Alabama Power for their thoughtfulness and wonderful contribution.

“The money will help us to continue to mentor the students and provide rewards and incentives for them.”  Mr. Martin stated that, “Alabama Power is proud to support the efforts of the Kappa League and applaud them in their efforts to mold the young people of this community through mentoring as well as career and vocational guidance programs.”
