Spring is still a month away, but with the change of seasons approaching, the national pastime will return to Atmore as sign ups for Atmore Cal Ripken Baseball will begin next weekend.

Registration for Cal Ripken Baseball  and Cal Ripken T-Ball will begin Saturday, Feb. 4 at City Hall auditorium 10 a.m. until 1 p.m..

T – Ball is for children ages four thru six and the registration fee is $40

Atmore Cal Ripken Baseball features minor and major league age grups.

The minor league is for ages seven to nine and the major league is for ages 10 to 12. Registration fee for both leagues is $50.

First time players need to bring proof of age . May 1 is the cutoff for birthdate of a player.
