Omicron Delta Kappa’s purpose is threefold: To recognize those who have exhibited high standards of leadership efficiency in collegiate activities. To bring together student leaders from all sectors of collegiate life. To bring together faculty members and the student body on the basis of mutual interest and understanding.

Founded in 1914, ODK was the first college honor society of a national scope to recognize and honor meritorious leadership and service in extracurricular activities as well as the development of general campus citizenship. The Omicron Delta Kappa “mark of distinction” is well recognized in both the academic and business worlds.
