Frances Juanita Barber

Frances “NaNa” Juanita Barber, 74, of Atmore, passed away Feb. 29, 2012, in Mobile. She was born Dec. 23, 1937, in McCullough. She is preceded in death by her parents James Marvin and Burley Johnson.
Survivors are: two sons, Timothy W. Barber of Atmore, Joseph Barber and wife Julie of Uriah; two daughters, Sonia J. Purvis and husband Mike of Atmore and Jackie Garrett and husband Darin of Mesquite, Texas; her twin brother, Fred Johnson and wife, Roberta of Atmore; one brother, James Johnson and wife, Laura of Waynesboro, Miss.; two sisters, Auger Barton of Fairhope, and Doris J. McNeil of Atmore; fourteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Services will be Saturday March 3, 2012, at 11 a.m. from Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Carl Ropkey officiating. Interment will follow in McCullough Cemetery.
Family received friends Friday evening March 2, 2012, from Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m.
