Minnie Ruth Dawe

Minnie Ruth Dawe, 92, of Atmore passed away Monday, March 5, 2012, in Atmore.
She was a retired Seamstress with Vanity Fair Mills, born in Escambia County on Nov. 10, 1919, to the late Jabe Cleveland and Minnie Wilson Myrick. She attended the Holiness Church.
She is preceded in death by her son, Darryl Dawe and Grandson, Lance Dawe.
Survivors are: one daughter, Beverly Daw and husband, Stoney of Atmore; one daughter-in-law, Annette Dawe of Atmore; one sister, Evelyn Beasley of Jay; three grandchildren, Adam Dawe and wife, Candice of Atmore, Ethan Dawe and wife, Mirinda of Semmes, and Natalie Donaldson and husband, Steven of Atmore; seven great-grandchildren.
Services were held Friday, March 09, 2012, at 10a.m. from the Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Sammy Thomley officiating. Interment followed in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Family received friends Thursday, March 8, 2012, at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.
