Lindsey Hammock and Adam Hartzog are pleased to announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Cheryl and Charles E. Hammock of Gulf shores and the granddaughter of Laura Hammock and the late Clarence Hammock of Clanton and the late Bernice and LeGrande Guerry Beatson of Elberta.

She is a 2006 graduate of Chilton County High School and earned a Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Alabama. She is currently employed at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery.

The prospective groom is the son of Frances and DeLane Hartzog of Prattville and the grandson of Connie Hartzog and the late Foy Hartzog of Atmore, and the late late Audrey Kate and Pete Kizer, also of Atmore.

He is a 2006 graduate of Prattville High School and is earning a degree in business administration with a minor in aviation management from Auburn University. He is currently employed with the Auburn University Regional Airport.

The wedding is scheduled for May 5.
