The Escambia County Board of Education named a replacement for retiring A.C. Moore principal David Nolan Thursday during their regular meeting.

John Brantley, currently serving as principal of W.S. Neal Elementary School, has been named as Nolan’s replacement. Nolan will move to the Escambia County Training School where he will be “based” from July 1, 2012 until September 30, 2012.

The BOE also made changes at Escambia County Middle School moving assistant principal Anthony Morris up to the position of principal. Current ECMS principal Linda Shuford will remain at ECMS in an unnamed position temporarily before retiring.
