Donald Ray Mosley

ABBEVILLE – Donald Ray Mosley, a resident of County Road 57 North, Abbeville, died Dec. 24, 2012 at his home. He was 62.
Memorial services were held at 11 a.m. Dec. 28, 2012, in the Old Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. Matthew Quincey and the Rev. Dwight Dameron officiating. Holman-Abbeville Mortuary were in charge of arrangements.

Mosley was born and reared in Atmore, son of the late William Mosley and Lillian Luker Mosley. He formerly lived in the Auburn and Notasulga area before moving to the Wills Crossroads community of Henry County four years ago. Mr. Mosley attended the Old Zion Baptist Church. He was retired, due to disability, from Murphy Trucking Company as a truck driver. Mr. Mosley was preceded in death by an infant grandson, Thomas Ray Mosley, a sister, Shirley Mosley and a brother, Norman Mosley.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Sue Cooper Mosley, Abbeville; two daughters, Shelley Wood (Michael), Leeds; Donna Sue Barnhart (Scott), Notasulga; a son, Terry Mosley (Sonya), Red Bay; four sisters, Martha Johnson and Laura Ikner, both of Atmore; Linda Kirrcharr and Nora Weaver (Pete), of Bay Minette; two brothers, Ronald Mosley (Faye) and Wayne Mosley, of Atmore; nine grandchildren, one great-granddaughter.
