ATMORE – Mr. R.C. “Bo” Robinson, Jr., 76, of Atmore died on May 9, 2013, at Baptist Hospital in Pensacola, Fla.

He was a native of Wetumpka and relocated to Atmore in 1957.

He had been a member at the Gaines Chapel AME Church, before moving his membership to the Old Ship Baptist Church where he served faithfully as a deacon and member.  He was a retired employee of Daniel Construction and Fluor Construction. He was a Mason.

His parents, RC Robinson, Sr. and Roberta Ellis Robinson; three sisters, Mae Ollie Robinson, Alice Roberts and Jettie Lean Robinson; four brothers, Thomas Robinson, Charlie Robinson, Willie Allen Robinson and Joseph Robinson; his father in-law, Jemison Montgomery, two brothers-in-law, Curtis Montgomery and Lavon Montgomery preceded him in death.

He will live on forever in the memories of his devoted wife, Dorothy Ann Robinson of Atmore; three daughters, Collette Robinson Jackson and Natalie (Kelvin) Davis, all of Montgomery and Ebonie Harris of Crockett, Texas; three sisters, Emma Nelson of Wetumpka, Willie Mae (Mack) Welch of Atmore and Belinda Johnson of Tampa; eight brothers, Edgar Robinson of Detroit, Jessie (Betty) Robinson of Atmore, Frank (Ethel) Robinson of Union Springs, William (Monique) Frazier of Montgomery, William Butler, Richard Butler, Cleve Butler and Reggie Butler, all of Tampa; mother-in-law, Cherrie Bell Montgomery of Atmore; four sisters-in-law, Gloria Jean Montgomery, Sherril (James) Pettway and Denise (Charles) Jackson, all of Atmore and Teresa (Ronald) Tolliver of Olympia, Wash.; three brothers-in-law, Derrick Montgomery, Rickey Montgomery  and Winston Montgomery, all of Atmore; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great- grandchildren.

A Homegoing Celebration was held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 18, 2013, at Empowerment Tabernacle Christian Center with the Rev. James Crook, pastor of Old Ship Baptist Church, eulogist, and the Rev. Darryl North, host pastor. Inhumation was in the Fairview Cemetery with Turner Funeral Chapel, LLC directing.
