Choctaw member: What has happened to freedom?

I am a Baptist preacher and retired foreign missionary. I am also a member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma.

I am appalled at the school in your town that refused to allow a graduating Senior to wear a feather to receive her diploma.

This smells to the heavens of discrimination — and a little research has shown that the girl’s Tribe has donated millions of dollars to your schools. What has happened to religious freedom and ethnic diversity?

Personally, I hope the girl and her parents sue and obtain a multimillion dollar settlement from the school. Your town is now on the map! Congratulations!
