ATMORE – Mirtis B. Anderson, 96, of Atmore passed away July 21, 2013, in Pensacola, Fla.

She was born Sept. 27, 1916, in Andalusia to the late J.D. and Rosa Lee Everage Brunson. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Atmore and was the co-owner of Anderson’s Department Store.

Her husband, Lukie Anderson, preceded her in death.

She is survived by her sons, Daulton (Brenda) Anderson and Foster (DyAna) Anderson, all of Atmore; grandchildren Jeff Anderson, David Anderson, Kristen Kaiser and Andy Anderson; and great grandchildren, Daulton, Amanda, Kimberlynn and Delanie.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. today, July 24, 2013, from the Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Arnold Hendrix officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 1 until the 2 p.m. service time today, July 24, 2013, at the Johnson – Quimby Funeral Home Chapel.
