The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office received 151 complaints for Aug.  31-Sept. 6. They also responded to seven domestic calls and provided transportation for 23.

The office served 118 civil papers, provided one domestic escort, and four funeral escorts.

The following are arrest reports filed with the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office from Aug. 31-Sept. 6.

Aug. 31

• Marcus J. Walker, 28, male, of Bryant Circle, Brewton, was charged with negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument.  Jason Sessions, 37, male, of Leroy Lane, Brewton, was charged with driving under the influence.

• Kenneth Evans, 19, male, of Pleasant View Drive, Perdido, was charged with breaking and entering a vehicle; criminal mischief, third degree, and theft of property, second degree.

Sept. 1

• Rusty W. Stapleton, 34, male, of Buddy Lake Drive, Brewton, was charged with distribution of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance.

Sept. 2

• Jermaine D. Frye, 23, male, of Old Freemanville Drive, Atmore, was charged with possession of marijuana, first degree.  Jerry W. Timothy Jr., 22, male, of Jack Springs Road, Atmore, was charged with assault, second degree.

• Clifford A. Wall, 40, male, of Jack Springs Road, Atmore, was charged with assault, second degree Jonathan A. McNeil, 25, male, of Hog Wallow Road, Atmore, was charged with possession of a controlled substance.  Dennis Odom, 46, male, of MLK Drive, Flomaton, was charged with being a fugitive from justice.

• Johnny Dennis, 67, male, of Virginia Drive, Atmore, was charged with public intoxication.

Sept. 3

• Eric Kendrick, 24, male, of Wallace Road, Brewton, was charged with domestic violence, third degree reckless endangerment.

Sept. 4

• Demarcus L. Johnson, 23, male, of Mosley Street, Atmore, was charged with assault, second degree and violation of probation.

Sept. 5

• Marvin Samuel, 31, male, of Sowell Road, Brewton, was charged with attempt to elude; escape, first degree; obstruction of justice; second degree; and revocation of community correction.  Dante M. Haynes, 35, male, of Fennell Steet, Atmore, was charged with violation of probation.

Sept. 6

• Jessica Harrison, 22, female, of Estates Lane, Atmore, was charged with failure to appear.

• Christopher Knighten, 29, male, of Atmosphere Road, Atmore, was charged with failure to appear.

• Jeremie D. Elliott, 33, male, of U.S. 29, Brewton, was charged with burglary, second degree.

• Leslie M. Bryant, 48, male, of U.S. 31, Atmore, was charged with public intoxication.
