Atmore firefighters battled a fire at Pizza Hut on South Main Street on Monday afternoon, with the restaurant sustaining some smoke damage.

It was not immediately clear how the fire started. Power was turned off at the restaurant as firefighters worked to put out the fire.

There were no injuries.
