James Coleman Fuqua

James Coleman Fuqua, 18, of Brewton, passed away Saturday night, Feb. 21, 2015, in Pensacola, Fla., after injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was a native and life long resident of Brewton.
He was a member of the Bethel Mennonite Church, attended W.S. Neal School before enrolling at Escambia Academy where he played football and was on the weight lifting Team. He was a member of the graduating class of 2015.
He is survived by his mother, Jean Joyner Fuqua of Brewton; an aunt, Sara Owens Phenix City; cousins, Cody Owens, Heath Owens, and Shannon Odom; special friends, Todd White, Kriss White, Cade White, Will Hendrix, Blaklee Hendrix, coach Hugh Fountain and many friends and classmates.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Earl “Fuzz” Fuqua; and his grandparents, Coleman and Ethel Fuqua.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, Feb. 25, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in Brewton.
Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday afternoon, Feb. 26, at 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, with the Rev. John Kemp officiating. Interment will follow in Bethel Cemetery in Brewton, with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Brewton directing.
