A riot broke out at Holman Correctional Facility in Atmore overnight.

According to a video shown on AL.com, the riot looks like it took place in the general population area. A fire was also seen burning outside of a window near the area. Pictures of the riot were published on social media.

The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office and riot teams were called in during the incident, according to reports.

Officials with the prison said that everything is fine as of around 5:30 a.m.
