During middle school and some of high school, the TV show “Seinfeld” got me through a lot.

Literally, every night I would come home and watch the sitcom that to me remains the best in the business.

Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David, the show’s creators, are geniuses. How can somebody take a show about nothing and turn it into a success that is still paying dividends?

Maybe I will share more about my love of all things “Seinfeld” another day, but what got me on the topic was a story I read on CNN’s website, which said that Seinfeld sold 15 of his cars at an auction for $22 million.

The highest-selling item was a 1961 Ferrari 250 GT California SWB Spider, which went for $17.2 million.

By no means am I a car novice, but I think that it’s pretty awesome that Seinfeld owned that amount of cars.

I wonder if he drives each car a certain day of the week? Who knows?

While reading the article, I wanted to know why Seinfeld would do this in the first place.

His said in a statement he made in January that it was time that he shared his cars with the world.

“I don’t really even think of myself as a collector. I just love cars. And I still love these cars,” Seinfeld said on CNN’s website. “But it’s time to send some of them back into the world, for someone else to enjoy, as I have.”

Being a huge fan of the show, I always like to see what each actor is doing now a days.

I know that Seinfeld is currently doing a show, where he has coffee with celebrities, while highlighting the vehicle he is driving that day. It’s a good film.

I don’t think Julia Louis-Dreyfus, who played Elaine in the show is doing anything at the moment. Her last work was “Veep,” an HBO series.

Michael Richards, who played Kramer, isn’t doing anything at the moment, acting wise.

Jason Alexander, who played George, is doing some acting and voice work.

I’m glad that Seinfeld lightened his load of cars for others. It makes me feel good knowing that he’s doing this.

Now, how do I get a test drive on the rest of his collection?
