UPDATE: According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, George Haley has been found safe. The alert has been canceled.

The Escambia County, Alabama Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating George Haley. Haley is a 83 year old black male with brown eyes and gray hair and suffers from dementia. He was last seen at at his residence in Atmore, around 5 a.m. today, March 23, 2016.

He may be traveling in a 2002 white Dodge Dakota license number 8785AH6 . If anyone has any information regarding the whereabouts of George Haley, please contact the Escambia County Sheriff’s Department at 251-867-0304 or call 911.
