The Flomaton Canes scored three runs each in the third and fourth innings to beat Escambia Academy 7-0 in Babe Ruth baseball league action last Friday night.

Jaylon’s RBI single to score Joseph in the second got the Canes on the board first during the game at Tom Byrne Park.

Jarred and Cole scored on a fly out and ground out, respectively, and Jackson scored on a fly out in the third inning.

In the fourth, Alex, Jarred and Cole scored after being walked.

Joseph went 1-for-1, and Jaylon went 1-for-3 to lead the Canes.

Austin threw a no-hitter for Flomaton in the win, striking out nine.

Tri-Co. Electric Shockers 16, Cornerstone Builder Nailers 5

The Shockers scored eight runs in the first inning, five runs in the second and three runs in the third in the win.

Addison Hadley went 3-for-3 with three runs; Warner Maxwell went 3-for-3 with three runs; Grant Sasser went 3-for-3 with two triples and a home run; Avery Trawick went 2-for-3 with one run; Bentley Howell went 3-for-3 with a run; Mason McKinnon went 2-for-2; Douglas Maxwell went 2-for-2; Takiya Tucker went 2-for-2; Shawn Summers went 2-for-2; Christian Roberts went 2-for-2; and Dillion Seamens went 2-for-2 to lead the Shockers.

Jerimiah Boykin went 2-for-3; CJ Staples went 3-for-3; Tre Kelly went 3-for-3; Trinity Taylor went 2-for-2; Levi Crawford went 2-for-2; and Zamya Hooks went 2-for-2 to lead the Nailers.

In other action, the Shockers beat the West Utilities Blue Flames 20-18.

McKinnon scored four runs to lead the Shockers. Bentley Howell, Braylon Corbitt and Christion Roberts scored three runs each.

Soria Jones, C.J. Arnold and Kandon Stewart scored three runs each for the Blue Flames. Kamari Stallworth and Bryson Frye scored two runs each.

First National Bank and Trust Athletics 4, United Bank Warriors 3

Riley Harrison went 2-for-2 with a triple and two runs to lead the Athletics. Ronta Watson went 3-for-3 with a run; and Jay Robinson went 1-for-2 with a run.

Bubba Hostrays went 3-for-3; Trevor Nall went 3-for-3; Randal Dean went 4-for-4; and Brody Phillips had a hit for the Warriors.

Canes 20, Braves 11

The Canes scored 10 runs in the first inning, nine runs in the second and one run in the third inning.

Wyatt Kent and Sam Johnson scored three runs each; Jackson Newton, J.T. Alaniz, Matthew Steele, Nathan Engle, Mason Dillard and Michael scored two runs each; and Keaton Payne scored one run to lead the Canes.

Brodie Phillips, Christopher Johnson and Buddy Bradley scored two runs each to lead the Braves. Quan Salazar, Harper Harrison, James Salazar, Gabe Crawford and Cam Riley scored one run each.

Atmore Lions

Club Cardinals 4

The Cardinals went ahead 4-1 by the second inning, but Flomaton scored seven unanswered runs the rest of the way.

Riley Johnson scored on a single from Kent, and J.T. Planiz scored on a single from Mathew Steele in the third inning.

In the fourth inning, Sam Jackson scored on a single from Riley Johnson. Johnson came around on a triple from Kent, and Luke Blackburn scored on an error in the fourth.

Nathan Engle scored in the fifth for Flomaton.

For the Cardinals, Emmett Battles scored two runs and had two hits; Lebron Hooks scored on run and had a hit; and Davon Gandy scored one run and had two hits.
