Donald Earl Boutwell

Mr. Donald Earl Boutwell, 56, passed away on Thurs., May 26, 2016, in Atmore.

Mr. Boutwell was a native and life-long resident of Escambia County. He was of the Pentecostal Holiness Faith.

He is survived by his wife, Jeannie Philyaw Boutwell; two sons, Donald Earl Boutwell Jr. and Thomas O’Neal Boutwell; three brothers, Richard Boutwell, Hoil Boutwell and Dave Boutwell; two sisters, Ester Boutwell and Evelyn Barintine; and one grandchild, Carly Boutwell.

Funeral services were held Tues., May 31, 2016, at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Sister Helen Stewart officiating. Burial was held at the Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation was held May 30 at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.

Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes LLC of Atmore was in charge of all arrangements.

Francis D. Jones

Ms. Francis D. Jones, 68, of Atmore (Freemanville Community), died Sun., May 29, 2016, at Atmore Community Hospital.

Funeral services will be announced by Turner Funeral Chapel LLC.

Henry Rodriquez Payne

Mr. Henry Rodriquez Payne, 35, of Atmore, died on Sun., May 22, 2016, at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery.

A native of Atmore, Henry attended school in Escambia County.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Gloria Payne Bryars; his father, Roger Hall, Sr.; a brother, Michael Payne; and his step-grandfather, William Stots.

Those left to cherish memories of his life are two sisters, Sandra (Joseph) Lowe and Carolyn (Cleveland) Biggs, all of Atmore; two brothers, Roger (Lacresha) Hall Jr. and Rodesia Turner, all of Atmore; his grandmother, Mary Pearl Stots of Atmore; and aunts, uncles and cousins.

A funeral service will be held today, Wed., June 1, 2016, at 1 p.m. from God’s Anointed Ones Church, 1010 East Nashville Ave., Atmore, with Apostle Jimmie C. Wilson officiating and Apostle Cleveland Biggs, serving as pastor. Inhumation will be in Stallworth Cemetery with Turner Funeral Chapel LLC directing.

Robert Eugene “Gene” Williams

Robert Eugene “Gene” Williams, 82, of Atmore, passed away on Tues., May 24, 2016, in Pensacola, Fla.

He was a Timber Inspector employed with Huxford Pole and Timber, born in Butler County on April 20, 1934, to the late Hillary Spann and Ovis Esther Bozeman Williams.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Atmore, and served in the United States Air force. He also was an avid Auburn fan.

He is preceded in death by a brother, Larry Williams.

Survivors are his wife, Nancy Farrow Williams of Atmore; two sons, Whit (Lisa) Williams of Oxford, N.C., and Erik (Charlotte) Williams of Pike Road; one daughter, Haley (William) Huskey of Atmore; one brother, John (Shirley) Williams of Memphis, Tenn.; and four grandchildren, Hanna, Chase, Jake and Hillary.

Services were held May 27, 2016 from the First United Methodist Church of Atmore with Dr. Debora Bishop officiating. Interment followed in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Active pallbearers were Jake Williams, Chase Williams, Lance Williams, Landon Williams, Allen Nix, Tommy Farrow, Greg Norwood and Kevin Classen. Honorary pallbearers were Billy Ridgeway, Mike Beech and Employees of Huxford Pole and Timber.

Family received friends May 26 at the First United Methodist Church.

In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church More Than Bricks fund.

Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home INC was in charge of all arrangements.
