Atmore City Councilman Cornell Torrence is not running for reelection as municipal qualifying ended Tuesday afternoon.

There are four running for Torrence’s District 2 seat.

City Clerk Becca Smith said Johnnie Jones, Michael Arnold, Russell Robinson and Jerome Webster are running for Torrence’s seat.

In District 5, incumbent Chris Harrison qualified, but will see opposition in Sandra Gray on Election Day.

Mayor Jim Staff, Councilman Webb Nall of District 1, Councilman Chris Walker of District 3 and Councilwoman Susan Smith of District 4 have no opposition in the upcoming election.
