Escambia County tied Excel and competed well against J.U. Blacksher in a 7-on-7 at Flomaton High School last Tuesday.

Blue Devils head football coach Royce Young said the defense saw great improvement out on the gridiron during the tournament.

“Offensively, we struggled a little bit,” he said. “We’re still deciding who is going to be our quarterback.”
