Lady Cougars to play in region tomorrow
Escambia Academy is playing for its season tomorrow at the AISA Class 2A, Region 2 regional at Patrician Academy.
The Lady Cougars finished fourth in their division, while PA finished No. 1.
EA volleyball coach Steve Livingston said the girls have been practicing hard in the lead up to tomorrow’s single elimination tournament.
“I think we’ve got a good shot of beating Patrician tomorrow,” he said. “If we beat them, then we’re in the Elite 8.
“The rest of the season doesn’t matter; it all comes down to tomorrow,” he said. “Our season will either end or it will proceed. All of our practices and games comes to this one moment in history.”
First serve is slated for 5:30 p.m.
