Operations to remain intact

Frontier Communications will be closing its retail and payment office in Atmore on Fri., Oct. 14, Midsouth Region Public Relations Manager Don Osika said Wednesday in an email statement.

“All other Frontier operations in Atmore are remaining intact,” Osika said. “With the proliferation of e-banking and online payment methods, in addition to the use of the USPS, there’s less need for our storefront as customers choose to do more business online.

“Customers can arrange for auto pay through their local bank or through online bill payment at www.frontier.com,” he said. “We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our customers, but there are so many options available today, there should be one to meet almost anyone’s need.”

Osika said customers can also mail in payments.
