A man has been taken by LifeFlight to an area hospital after sustaining injuries in a two-vehicle wreck Tuesday afternoon, according to officials.

The man was riding his motorcycle and failed to stop at a stop sign, hitting a vehicle at the intersection of Sunset Drive and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, officials said.

This is the second wreck in a matter of two days. The first wreck occurred Monday afternoon at the intersection of Main and Owens Streets.

Alabama State Troopers responded to the wreck on Tuesday, but additional information wasn’t available by press time.
