Angie Spencer Wyckoff
Angie Spencer Wyckoff, 38, passed on Nov. 19, 2016.
She was born Sept. 26, 1978, in Wichita, Kan., the daughter of Harlan and Linda Spencer. She attended Texas Tech University in Texas, and the University of South Alabama, where she received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees. She was employed by Caribe the Resort and also taught at the University of South Alabama.
She had great faith in Jesus Christ, freely shared her testimony, and always had something nice to say about everyone. She will definitely be missed by everyone who ever had the chance to meet her.
She is survived by her parents, Harlan and Linda Spencer; her husband, Jason Wyckoff; daughters, Brileigh and Kyler Wyckoff; and sisters, Mary and Amy Spencer.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Michelle Spencer.
In lieu of flowers or donations, the family asks that you donate to the GoFundme.com account set up in Angie Wyckoff’s name. The money will be given to her two teenage daughters.
Funeral services were held Fri., Nov. 25, 2016, from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Daphne with Bishop Greg Boxx serving as officiate.
Visitation was held Nov. 25 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Daphne.
Graveside services were held from the Shady Grove Cemetery in Mobile.
Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes LLC of Atmore was in charge of all arrangements.
Charles Kenny Williams
Mr. Charles Kenny Williams, 62, of Frisco City, passed away on Fri., Nov.18, 2016, at his home.
He retired from G.E. Forestery.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Willis Green Williams Sr. and Minnie Lee Brooks Williams; one brother, Albert Williams; and one sister, Judith Williams.
Survivors include two sons, Jason (Jennifer) Howell and Lee Howell, both of Brewton; one daughter, Tonya Howell of Brewton; six brothers, Leroy (Merle) Williams of Uriah, Gene (Betty Ann) Williams of Mineola, Buddy (Rosie) Williams of Franklin, David (Sue) Williams of Goodway, Junior (Alice) Williams of Monroeville, Don (Vicki) Williams of McCullough and Otis (Leigh) Flowers of Mexia; five sisters, Louise Gibson of Claiborne, Montez McMillian of Little River, Bobby Ann Corey of Mexia, Maricie (Wayne) Howard of Pelham and Orbineze (Charles) Boatwright of Poarch; sister in law, Catherine Williams of Atmore; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Nov. 23, 2016 from Monroe Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronnie Williams and the Rev. Jerry May serving as officiates. Burial followed in Poplar Springs Cemetery in Uriah. Visitation was held Nov. 23 at the funeral home.

R. Dale Gehman
R. Dale Gehman, 59, of Akron, Pa., went home to be with Jesus on Nov. 22, 2016, at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center.
He was the loving husband of Darlene Horst Gehman for 34 years. He was the devoted father of Mathew Dale, husband of Linda Welch Gehman of Yangon, Myanmar; Sarah, wife of Simeon Beatty of Akron, Pa.; Hannah, wife of Ovidiu Gabor of Lititz, Pa.; and Abigail, wife of Jerry Allgyer of Stevens, PA; and grandpa to Eliana and Katelyn Gehman, and Mihai Gabor.
He was born in Carlisle, Pa. and was the son of Martin E. and Vernie Lee Barnhill Gehman of Atmore.
He is also survived by his siblings, Martin “Jerry” (Faith) Gehman of Atmore, David (Shyrell) Gehman of Atmore, Joseph (Rhonda) Gehman of Pelham and Martha (Todd) Gookin of Atmore.
He was passionate about Jesus, his family and broadcast engineering. He enjoyed stargazing, traveling, photography and walking his dog in Akron Park. Dale was a member of Poarch Creek Indians and served on the Tribal Council for 13 years. He was an active member of New Life Fellowship of Ephrata, Pa.
A viewing will be held this Fri., Dec. 2 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at New Life Fellowship, 420 E. Fulton Street, Ephrata, Pa. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Sat., Dec. 3, at New Life Fellowship with Kevin Horning and Dave Witmer officiating. Interment will be private.

Donnie Marvin Nordstrom
Donnie Marvin Nordstrom, 80, of Frisco City, passed away on Nov. 26, 2016, in Monroeville.
He was a forester with the Alabama State Forestry Commission and served in the Army National Guard. He was born in Atmore on Sept. 30, 1936, to the late J.E. and Elsie Lorenz Nordstrom.
He was a member and deacon of McCullough Christian Center, and enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Sybil U. Nordstrom; son, Gary Nordstrom; brothers, Bernard Nordstrom and Edwin Nordstrom; and a sister, Ione Young.
He is survived by two daughters, Donna (Ronnie) Jordan of Excel and Amy (Chris) Betsole of Red Oak; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services were held Nov. 28, 2016, from McCullough Christian Center with Bro. Cornelius Phillips officiating. Interment followed in McCullough Cemetery.
Family received friends, Nov. 28, 2016, at the McCullough Christian Center.
Pallbearers were Larry Carraway, Eugene Carraway, Scott Saucer, Tommy Smith and Tad McMullen.
Honorary pallbearers were Marlyn Mack and Phillip Wilson.
James D. Beasley
James D. Beasley, 88, of Atmore, passed away Fri., Nov. 25, 2016, peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Walnut Hill, Fla., on Oct. 23, 1928. He was an operator/foreman with St. Regis Paper Company for 41-and-a-half years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Novy and Myrtle Hale.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Louise Beasley of Atmore; two sons; Donny (Donna) Beasley of Gulf Breeze, Fla. and Ronnie (Sandie Roberts) Beasley of Atmore; siblings, Clark (Diane) Hale of McComb, Miss., Douglas (Mary Elizabeth) Hale of Atmore, Rodney (Dena) Hale of Clearwater, Fla., Sue Mahoney of Milton, Fla., Sandra (Ruthie) Muffler of California and Linda (Bernard) Peacock of Stockton; four grandchildren, Justin Beasley, Brennan Beasley, Jace Beasley and Jenna Beasley, M.D.; and eight great-grandchildren.
Family received friends Nov. 29, 2016, at the Trinity Episcopal Church.
Services were held on Nov. 29 from the Trinity Episcopal Church of Atmore. A private Family Graveside followed in Oak Hill Cemetery.

James Arnold Steadham
Mr. James Arnold Steadham, 80, passed away on Sat., Nov. 26, 2016, in Pensacola, Fla.
Mr. Steadham was a native of Blacksher, Ala., former resident of Shelby, N.C. and has resided in Cantonment, Fla. since 1997. Mr. Steadham was retired from the United States Marine Corps. with 20 years of service, and veteran of the Korean War and Vietnam. He was an inventor, fabricator, certified welder, farmer and gardener. He is preceded in death by his wife, Meveric Fay Steadham; son, James “Jimmy” Steadham; daughter, Yvonne Steadham; step-daughter, Sheree David; parents, James Ernest and Lydia Steadham; three sisters, Mildred Eugene Wilson, Luverne Autrey Dennan and Sudie Belle Stevens; one brother, Thomas Clifford Steadham; and step-grandson, John Paul Arnold Tucker.
He is survived by his three brothers, Eubie Steadham of Cantonment, Glen Ervin Steadham of Folsom, La. and Gordon Ernest Steadham of Patterson, La.; two sisters, Gayle Eulen Autin of Lafayette, La. and Quida Faye Turner of Orange Beach; one step-daughter, Angela McClintock of Shelby; three grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be this Fri., Dec. 2, 2016, at 11 a.m. from the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Robert Bruce Turner officiating.
Visitation will be Dec. 2, 2016, from 10 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.
Burial will follow at the Steadham Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be the Military Bodybearers.

Susan Smith
Mrs. Susan J. Smith, 63, of Uriah, passed away on Fri., Nov.18, 2016, at Mobile Infirmary.
She was retired from Little River State Park. She was a member of the Uriah Volunteer Fire Department and a member of the Baptist Faith.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jewell and Louise King; and one grandson, Robert Trenton Thomas.
Survivors include two sons, Jonathon Johnson of Atmore and Stephen Smith and wife, Jessica of Excel; one daughter, Casey Thomas and husband, Kirven Thomas Jr. of Excel; one brother, Harold King of Virginia; three sisters, Carolyn (Bobby) Atkins of Mexia, Marilyn (Marion) Lambert of Perdue Hill and Debbie (Tony) King of Goodway; three grandchildren, Trip Thomas of Excel, Samuel James of Excel and Ashlei James of Excel.
Funeral services were held Nov. 22, 2016 from Monroe Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Wayne Godwin officiating. Burial followed in Poplar Springs Cemetery in Uriah. Visitation was held Nov. 21 at the funeral home.
