Two local boys basketball teams have found their way onto the Alabama Sports Writers Association’s recent poll, which was released today.

Escambia County (6-3) is No. 9 in Class 4A after going undefeated in the county tournament last week in Flomaton.

Escambia Academy (5-1) is ranked at No. 7 after recent wins over Sparta Academy and Morgan Academy.

ECHS is at home this Friday against Flomaton, while EA hosts a tournament on Saturday.
