An Auburn woman died in a single-vehicle crash early this morning on Hwy. 31, 7 miles south of Brewton, according to Alabama State Troopers.

Trooper Kevin Cook said Jessica Michelle Norwood, 29, was killed when her 2009 Toyota Camry she was driving left the roadway, overturned and struck a tree.

Cook said Norwood wasn’t wearing a seat bet, and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Cook said the crash occurred on Hwy. 31 at the 62-mile marker at 5:45 a.m.

Troopers continue to investigate the crash.
