The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for Escambia County from 6 p.m. today until 3 a.m. on Saturday.

According to the extended forecast, the rain chance goes from 80 to 20 percent tonight with a low of 26 degrees.

The high for Saturday is 37 degrees with a low of 22 tomorrow night, where a hard freeze is slated for the area.

In the Walnut Hill, Fla., area, the low tonight is 27 degrees with the same rain chance as the Atmore area. The high tomorrow is 38 degrees with no hard freeze warning tomorrow night.
