Debra Ann Shanks Agerton
Mrs. Debra Ann Shanks Agerton, 64, passed away on Sat., Feb. 4, 2017 in Pensacola, Fla.
She was a native and former resident of Atmore and has resided in Walnut Hill, Fla. for the past 25 years. She was the first animal control officer for the city of Atmore and she was a member of the First Baptist Church of Atmore.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Luveda Shanks.
She is survived by her husband, Gene Agerton of Walnut Hill; one son, Nicklas Agerton of Atmore; three daughters, Mindy Jackson McGhee of Atmore, Ashley Agerton of Mobile and Jordan (Hunter) McKinley of Atmore; one brother, Larry Shanks of Atmore; two half-sisters, Marsha Shanks of Uriah and Patty Shanks of Uriah; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Feb. 6, 2017 from the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Johnny Stabler officiating.
Burial followed at Oak Grove Cemetery.
Visitation was held Feb. 6 from the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were James Agerton, Hunter McKinley, Matthew Shanks, Darrell Sells, Nicklas Agerton and Robert Agerton.
Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes LLC of Atmore was in charge of all arrangements.
Jesse Williams
Graveside services for Mr. Jesse Williams were held at 10 a.m. Feb. 7, 2017.
Mayberry Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Rachel Davis
Rachel Davis, 92, of Atmore, passed away Mon., Jan. 30, 2017, in Atmore.
She was a bank teller, born on March 28, 1924, to the late Leon and Sudie McKenzie
Davis.
She is preceded in death by five sisters, Mable Davis, Grace Lowrey, Ruby Ceil Cooper,
Hazel Davis and Euleon Gates.
Survivors are a nephew, Buddy (Cathy) Lowrey and friends.
Graveside services were held Fri., Feb. 3, 2017 in Oak Hill Cemetery with Bro. Robert Heard serving as officiate. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Inc. was in charge of all arrangements.
Ronald Powell Sr.
Mr. Ronald Powell Sr., 56, a resident of Mobile, passed away on Jan. 31, 2017.
Memorial services were held Feb. 4, 2017.
Mayberry Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Sidney Selvin Warrick
Mr. Sidney Selvin Warrick, 76, passed away on Tues., Jan. 17, 2016, in Pensacola, Fla.
He was a native of Jay, Fla. and has resided in Pensacola most of his life. He was of the Baptist Faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney and Fannie Warrick; three brothers, J.T. Warrick, Dawyan Warrick and Rayford Warrick; and a sister, Pearl Lambeth.
He is survived by his sister, Lena Mae Odom of Bratt, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were held Thurs., Feb. 2, 2017 from the Flomaton Cemetery.
