Atmore’s 10U Cal Ripken All-Stars fell 15-9 to Flomaton in the District 7 tournament at Tom Byrne Park today.
Flomaton came out with a nine-run inning in the top of the first, but Atmore cut it to four with five runs of its own in the bottom half of the frame.
Flomaton added three runs in the second and fourth innings and one in the fifth.
Atmore scored two runs each in the fourth and fifth.
In the championship, Monroe beat Flomaton 15-6.
Monroe and Flomaton advance to the state tournament, which will be held at Matthews Park in Mobile.
