Leading up to home football games, every school has its routines on Friday afternoons.
Escambia Academy played Cornerstone Christian in Canoe in the first round of the AISA Class 2A state playoffs on Nov. 3. The Cougars won the game 55-0.
In the time prior to kickoff, as it has done during the five previous home games, EA has a team meal, rest time, game prep, last-minute meetings and a team speech prior to kickoff.
