His bond is $5,000 for the drug, FTA (failure to appear) and unauthorized use of a vehicle charges and no bond for the bench warrant.
Lambert said at approximately 4:20 p.m. on Feb. 7, Deputy Lowry and Sgt. Cosey went to serve a warrant on Hayles at his residence on Johnson Road.
“Deputies made contact with Mr. Hayles, and advised him that he had a FTA issued by the circuit judge in his case,” he said. “He was placed under arrest, and taken into custody.”
Lambert said during a pat down, Cosey found what was believed to be a partially burned hand rolled cigarette that appeared to be marijuana in the left front pocket of the maroon-colored jacket Hayles was wearing..
