Traffic detail nets arrests

APD, ECSO participate in joint operation, several people seized on drug charges

Eight were arrested on drug charges and warrants in a joint city wide traffic enforcement detail by the Atmore Police Department and Escambia County Sheriff’s Office, according to officials.

Chief Chuck Brooks said the detail took place on Feb. 22, and additional officers on the street performed numerous traffic stops for speeding, vehicle equipment violations and other moving violations.

Those arrested include:

• Joshua Hall, for trafficking codeine, marijuana I, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and a search warrant;

• Roy Sanders, for a warrant out of Baldwin County;

• Frank Gulley, for two warrants through Escambia County;

• Christopher Moore, for possession of marijuana I;

• Aaron Lambeth, for trafficking methamphetamine;

• Jerrell Johnson, for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia;

• Bethany Brooke Dumas, for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia; and,

• William K. Cheeks, for possession of a controlled substance.
