Frampton not coming to Atmore

CORRECTION: In today’s edition of The Atmore Advance, it as written that Peter Frampton is performing at Wind Creek Casino in Atmore on June 22. That information is incorrect. Frampton will be playing at the Wind Creek property in Wetumpka on that date. We’re sorry for the error, and were happy to set the record straight.
Legendary guitarist Peter Frampton will be playing at Wind Creek Casino and Hotel in Atmore on June 22 as a part of his farewell tour, according to reports.
Frampton, known for such hits as “Breaking All the Rules”, “Show Me the Way”, “Baby, I Love Your Way”, “Do You Feel Like We Do” and “I’m in You,” begins his tour on Jun. 16 in Oklahoma. The tour has dates slated until Oct. 12.
Frampton reached critical fame with a concert album, “Frampton Comes Alive!,” which topped the Billboard 200 chart for 10 non-consecutive weeks in 1976, according to WFJA Classic Hits 105.5’s website.
Tickets for most of the shows will be on sale to the public this Fri., March 1, at 10 a.m. at LiveNation.com.
