Cougars win 2 this week, to play tomorrow

Escambia Academy’s Tye Williams threw a no hitter to help lead his team to a 17-0 victory over Sparta on Thursday.
Williams allowed one base running on a fielding error, struck out five and only faced 10 batters in the affair.
Williams also led with four hits.
On Tuesday, EA defeated Rocky Bayou 9-4.
Sam Martin earned the win on the mound.
Jason Davis went 3-for-4 to lead the Cougars at the plate.
EA will host a tournament, starting tomorrow at 11 a.m. at home. EA play Atmore Christian at 11 a.m.; then Jay, Fla. plays ACS afterward; and EA faces Jay in the late game.
