Levon “Lover” McGhee, 72, of Atmore, passed away on Tues., March 19,

2019, in Pensacola, Fla.

He was born in Poarch on Feb. 28, 1947 to the late Carlie Dee McGhee.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Carlie McGhee Dalrymple; brothers, Lester Dalrymple and Benny McGhee; and sister, Mable St.Germain.

Survivors are Carlee McGhee of Elberta; Sarah McGhee of Colorado;

three brothers, Leon McGhee of Foley, Thomas Dalrymple of Tensaw and John Lloyd (Alice) Dalrymple of Opp; a sister, Sara Dalrymple; Danny Rolin of Tensaw; and three grandchildren, Gracelyn Helton, Camden Helton and Cambrie McGhee.

Services were held March 23, 2018 from Atmore Memorial Chapel with Bro. Bill Stevens officiating. Interment will follow in New Home Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Shane Gibson, Jerry Hawkins, Kevin McGhee, Daniel Helton, Wayne McGhee and Tim McGhee.

Family received friends March 22 at Atmore Memorial Chapel from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home, Inc. and Atmore Memorial Chapel was in charge of all arrangements.
