Wrestlemania weekend was quite good here

Wrestlemania weekend is a unique entity.
As you’ve read in this space before, the weekend is filled with all things wrestling, whether it be independent promotions, out of the ordinary shows and the penultimate show on Sunday.
Last weekend, I spent several hours consuming wrestling-related content from the comforts of my parent’s TV room and my living room here.
My weekend started on Friday when I watched the WWE’s NXT brand’s TakeOver: New York show. That was something to behold.
I couldn’t quite get through the entire show because I was tired, but managed to catch the main event the following day. The entire show delivered in a big way, and I’m anxious for more going forward.
The next day, Saturday, I worked a bit, taking photos at various events around town and then partook in Atmore’s Main Event’s show, Spring Fever.
While I didn’t partake in wrestling, I enjoyed the show altogether. The show included an interesting singles match, a good tag match, Atmore’s own Cleveland Biggs winning again, a four-way poll match and the debut of a new mysterious character.
The next show at AME will be held April 20. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and bell time is at 7.
On Sunday, I awoke and once my usual amount of coffee was consumed, I began to catch up on watching New Japan Pro Wrestling’s G1 Supercard pay per view. Another good show that culminated in two co-main events that stand out.
Later that day, Wrestlemania began. With the kick off show at 5 p.m. central, I, along with my friends, knew we were in for a long night.
Overall, Wrestlemania seemed to fly by for me. I cooked and did laundry during the show, which was good.
All in all, the show got off air at 11:30 p.m. central. I was tired the next day, let me tell you.
It was a good tired because I felt like the weekend wasn’t wasted.
